"Roarrring Baby!"

Oh boy!  Greyson has learned how
to "roar" at us!  Brandon & I both noticed him doing this a few weeks ago.  It is just too funny!  Whenever we are playing he starts his roaring/growling.  For fun, I decided to start roaring back at him  (It starts to hurt your throat after awhile).  Well, he caught on & we have discovered a new game!  I was able to record us in acion! Hope it brings you a smile!

"Spartans! What is your Profession?"

We'll also be cheering on another Big Ten team this season (and for the next 3 as well)...the Michigan State Spartans! Our nephew, "Jared McGaha," #75 plays as an offensive lineman for the Spartans.
We’ll be heading up to Michigan soon to watch him play. Last year, we had a great time watching him & the Spartans win against Notre Dame.

"Go Jared!  We love you!"

Baby's First Labor Day

What an exciting Labor Day weekend we had! First we headed down to West Virginia to spend time with Brandon’s family. We enjoyed eating good food, playing games, chatting, feeding the deer, bird watching, and of course loving on Greyson! It’s so pretty and peaceful at his parent's house.  We really enjoyed our stay.
Grandma Carole thought it would be cute to put Greyson in this silly looking swim suit …he wasn’t a bit excited about it. Their pool was a bit too cold so we decided not to get in. Next year we will for sure!

Then we headed back to Columbus to see my family. We met up at my parent's house with my sister and our youngest nephew Dustin.  They made a stop on their way back from watching Jared play football at Michigan State, before heading back to Tennessee. We also got to see our sister in- law Kate, who made a trip down from Findlay with our nieces.  Everyone enjoyed getting to see and hold Greyson!  Our sister in- law also made the big announcement that her and my brother are expecting baby #4 in March! We are so thrilled and excited for them!

All "Tressel"ed Out

Brandon is a huge Ohio State football enthusiast, & he was a bit disappointed that we hadn't gotten “Grey”son any Ohio State paraphernalia to wear. With football season quickly approaching, I headed out to “The Buckeye Corner” to see what I could find for Greyson to wear. They had tons of cute little girl clothes like cheerleading outfits (no thank you). Then, I came across the cutest outfit…Well, if you know anything about Ohio State's football coach "Jim Tressel," he’s not only a classy guy & known for leading the scarlet & grey, but he’s also known for his conservative dress attire! On game day, coach Tressel sports a sweater vest & tie. Well, don’t you know that is exactly what I found for Grey to wear. I knew Brandon would get a kick out of this! So here’s our little man all “Tressel”ed out! Go Bucks!

A New Trick

Baby Greyson has learned a new trick! He can blow bubbles with his saliva! He's been doing this for a few weeks...I think it is so cute!

He also likes "chewing" on his tongue & sticking it out! Especially whenever I go to snap a pic!

Our Little Monkey...

is 3 Months old! Baby Grey won’t go back to the doctor until next month (October, he'll be 4 months). So, this month we don’t know how much weight he’s gained (I’d say a few) or how many inches he’s grown (definitely a few). He has however, reached some milestones in his physical & mental developments.
Some of our favorite songs that Greyson enjoys us singing to him are: “Itsy, bitsy, spider”, “If you’re happy & you know it”, & “You are my sunshine”…just to name a few! He also loves for us to move his hands/feet while we sing to him.

He also enjoys relaxing in his SweetPeace swing! Whenever he’s in his swing, I will turn on the music & he’ll adjust his body so that he can “kick” at the objects rather than bat at them with his hands (using his hands is too easy). Besides, he’s too busy sucking on his hands as you can see.

I started to notice that whenever I put him down in front of me to play, he gets real excited & starts to kick, kick, kick! I decided to go to Babies “R” Us & see what kind of plaything I could find that would help to promote his physical development. What I found was a “kick & play piano!” The piano mat is placed at the end of the crib & whenever Greyson kicks the “key,” the mat lights up and plays music. If he kicks a different key, different music will start to play. It didn’t take him long to figure it out! It’s too cute & he loves it! Maybe someday he'll be able to play the piano like his talented cousin Dustin!

Such a cute little fella!

It's so much fun to watch him develop & grow!
