It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! During the Christmas season it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of it all and to lose focus of what we're celebrating and the things that are important in life.  For me, whenever I look at my husband and our children, I am constantly reminded of the many blessings God has blessed our family with.

This year Brandon was able to take almost a full two weeks of vacation time with me.   We enjoyed the time off together, but we especially enjoyed the time we got to spend as a family!  On Christmas morning the kids woke up by eight o'clock, which was nice considering Korenna is usually awake by 6 o'clock!  We then opened presents, and afterward enjoyed a filling breakfast!

The day after Christmas, we enjoyed spending the morning at the park!  It was a surprisingly 48 degrees!!

Family Is The Best Part Of Christmas

Our Christmas celebration started off with a trip up to Findlay, Ohio to see my older brother and his family.  My mom and dad also made the trip with us.  We had a great time watching our nieces and nephew (along with Greyson and Korenna), tear into all the presents. The funniest moment for me was when, our niece Camryn who’s in 1st grade opened her Justin Bieber pajamas from us…she screamed at the sight of them! It was too cute!

We then celebrated Christmas Eve morning with Brandon's side of the family.  We enjoyed a yummy breakfast that Nana Carole fixed for all of us.

That evening we headed to church with my parents and then went back to their home to have our traditional Christmas Eve dinner and open presents with them.
