Ready Or Not, Here I Grow!

Korenna Lee

Little Miss Korenna is 11 months old today!  Time is passing way too quickly...Korenna recently went to the doctor for a wellness check up, and all is great!  She's growing just like a healthy baby should!  The girl has mastered every 1st year milestone, except walking!  I recently bought her some new shoes hoping it would help motivate her to walk...no luck yet.  Some of her first words are "Ma-ma, Da-da, and Da-sy."

Handprints Of Love

For a Father's Day gift this year, I decided to do a T-shirt for Brandon with the kid's hand prints on it.  Somehow I managed to do this all by my-self!  I should mention that Greyson had a meltdown because he wanted to play in the paint, and Korenna wanted to lick the paint off of her hands!  I was able to capture some pics of the somewhat controlled chaos!  I will be going to buy some "finger paint" for Greyson to play in.  I felt bad that I didn't let him engage too much with the paint, but I didn't have the area prepped for its use.  I should’ve known better!!

   Greyson went 1st...no problem!

 Believe me though...their Daddy is well worth the trouble!!

This year Korenna & I attended the “Race for a Cure” with my Momma (Grandma Karen).  It's such an inspiring event to take part of, because breast cancer has been a part of my mother's life for the past ten years!  We’re so thankful that my mother has remained healthy and happy, and has received the vital care and treatments that have saved her life! While her battle is not over, she has a fascinating story to share about a God who gives her daily strength to fight this ongoing battle, she also has the comfort of close family and friends who stand by her and love her deeply.  Her attitude remains positive and her faith in the Lord is strong.

TWO-rific!

Greyson turned two on June 1^st, but since his birthday fell in the middle of the week we planned the celebration for the first weekend of the month.  We invited friends and family over to our home for a "Hot Wheels" themed birthday.  Even though Brandon & I were busy hosting the party, we had such a fantastic time & are so grateful to everyone who came to see Greyson!
