Christmas Is Filled With Kids And Kisses

This year the build up to Christmas Day has been so much fun with Greyson!  After Daddy put up the outdoor lights and the lights on the Christmas tree, Greyson's reaction was priceless!  He loves gazing at the lights and wants to touch them.

Greyson didn't like the Santa that Daddy put out...I caught him ramming his Thomas ride into poor Santa!

Greyson also understood the concept of opening presents this year!  It was lots of fun watching his reaction as he tore into present after present!

 Grandma Carole wrapped his presents in Dora wrapping paper...he loved it!

 Next year Korenna will get to enjoy opening presents as well!

This Eating Stuff Is HARD Work!

Little Miss Korenna is five months old today and I've been feeding her solids for the past two weeks.  She's just now finally starting to enjoy them!  I first started feeding her just plain rice cereal mixed with formula and she hated it!  So, I decided to go ahead and start adding a fruit or vegetable with the cereal, and she has found it to be much more tasty!   She’s not too thrilled about peas or green beans yet, but she loves her some carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas and apples! 

Dear Santa, All Mommy & Daddy Want Is A Silent Night!

Our big adventure with Greyson and Korenna was getting their picture taken with Santa Claus.  We knew Greyson's reaction to Santa this year was going to be a bit more dramatic than last, considering he was still just a baby and unaware. We tried to familiarize him with Santa by reading him books with Santa, we watched the Dora special with Santa, and we even practiced imitating Santa's “HO,HO, HO’s…”it didn’t matter, Greyson was more than likely going to have the reaction we anticipated.
Despite the snowy day, we were determined to get the meet and greet with Santa over.  As we arrived at the mall, we were happy to discover that it was a short wait!  We forgot to prepare ourselves for what may happen, and before we knew it, it was our turn to meet Santa!  I carefully handed Korenna to Santa and as Daddy went to hand Greyson to Santa (bad idea)…it happened!  Greyson started to cry!  He cried louder, and louder!  I didn't know whether to take him away or to console him!  Time stood still...he was absolutely horrified of Santa!  Thankfully Santa's "helpers" reacted quick and made a few quick adjustments.  At last we were able to get a memorable picture with Santa!

  

Christmas Cuties

We got up at 6 am for family Christmas pictures this morning!  The photographer that we like going to was booked solid and only had a 7:15 am opening.  We took it, because we wanted to get our Christmas cards sent out as soon as we could!  We always have a good time watching the photographers position the kids just right...Korenna was a delight, Greyson was still trying to figure out what we were doing up so early on a Saturday morning!!

What a Life...Eating, Sleeping, Playing, And Being Cute!

Little Miss Korenna is 4 months old today!  She just had her 4 month check up and weighed in at 17 lbs. and measured 27 inches long!  Here's what she's up to these days...when she's excited and wants to play, she jerks her arms and legs crazily to demonstrate her joy!  She's very attracted to brightly colored objects, she's mastered rolling from her tummy to her back, she loves to sit up in her bumbo seat and her jumperoo so that she can watch brother run about, she will baby talk you to death, she can give a smile that will melt anyone's heart, and she laughs whenever you tickle her.  She's so much fun and has the sweetest little round face ever!
