Fallen But Not Forgotten

Every Memorial Day, we make a trip to the cemetery to visit Brandon's Great Uncle who served time in the Army.   He also earned a medal for his bravery while being held captive as a POW....it is important to us to teach our children to be patriotic...and to honor the men and women who've sacrificed their lives for our freedoms  

My wonderful husband, who also served time in the Army will have opportunities to talk to our children about the importance of patriotism.

Behind Greyson is a wonderful display of hundreds of American flags honoring local heroes who have served our country...

Today we walked in The Race For The Cure, in honor of my Mom (Grandma Karen) who continues her fight against cancer.  She's an inspiration to all who know her...

Mum's Day

On this day, we stood before our church/ family, and dedicated our children to the Lord.  It is our prayer, that one day soon Greyson and Korenna will come to know Him as their Personal Savior. This will be an everlasting Mother's Day memory!!

A New BFF

While out shopping last weekend, Korenna spotted something that she just had to have!  A full size Dora pillow!  It was too cute to turn down, and now it's her new BFF!  Wondering how long this will last...

Since Korenna has been working on being potty trained, guess she figured Dora could practice too!
