Greyson got to meet with Santa Claus yesterday and it went great! He even looked up at him and tried to grab his beard! Santa was a good sport and laughed! It was well worth our wait in line.

All I Want For Christmas...
Is a new tooth! That's right, Baby Grey cut his first tooth! While at our nieces bowling party in Findlay yesterday, we were all passing Greyson around...someone discovered that baby Grey had cut his first tooth! He must have realized how cute he looked, because he grinned all day long! Could have also been the fact that he loves his nieces (pretty girls). We had the best time bowling & laughing at my family of bowlers! We then met up with our nephew Jared, who passed through from Michigan on his way home to Knoxville for Christmas break. He will then be playing in the Alamo Bowl on January 2nd in Texas. What a fun day we had!

Christmas Blessings...
We have been blessed beyond this year with the birth of our 1st healthy baby boy, our jobs, our Grandparents who have been able to babysit Greyson, just to name a few! We love our parents and are thankful for all that they've done for us!
This will be our first Christmas as a family. We've had so much fun putting up the lights and decorations for Greyson to see (he'll appreciate them more next year). This past weekend we went and had some family pics and some 6 month old pics taken of Greyson. Here are a few I'd like to share...enjoy!
"Merry Christmas!"

Watch Out, Here I Grow!
Our sweet baby boy turned 6 months old on December 1st! Don't worry; we didn't let him eat the cupcake! We took him to the doctor on Wednesday for his checkup, and here are his stats...Weight 19lbs./11oz. and his height/length 28 1/2in.! Okay, his weight sounds like a lot! We actually had to feed him while in the waiting area, so take away some ounces or a pound of his actual weight.... He's doing so much now! He's rolling over both ways, talking (baby talk), almost sitting up, eating solids; he likes banging on objects, still loves his jumper, loves leaning his head back & looking at objects upside down, and is just a happy little fella! He brings us so much joy and laughter…

Bringing Down the House!
Greyson loves his jumperoo! Whenever he starts his jumping, it sounds like our house is coming down, Daisy runs and hides from the madness, but Baby Greyson is having the best time ever! He's really got the hang of it and I'm thinking he's gonna have some "mad hops" like his mommy!

Jump, jump, jump!

Chew, Chew, Chew...
Greyson has been showing signs of teething! Such as...chewing on everything, drooling (now I know what all those bibs are for), and some fussiness. We made a trip to Babies R Us to find some more teething toys for him.
He loves them!

Cute Little Spooks
We couldn't decide whether Greyson should be a Pirate or a Dinosaur for Halloween. So, we decided to dress him up in both outfits. We put the Pirate outfit on him whenever we went out for dinner on Friday night & the Dinosaur outfit on him for Halloween night. Before heading over to my parents house to go "Trick or Treating" with our nieces, we made some stops around our neighborhood to see some friends. We had a lot of fun seeing all the kiddos out in their costumes.
Here's Greyson and his cousins all dressed up!
Hope you had a "Happy Halloween!"

It's Hard To Be Neat When You're Learning To Eat!
Yummy! Greyson tried rice cereal for the first time and it was a bit messy! At first he wasn't quite sure what to think of the spoon, but once he realized it had "food" on it he was hooked! Each week we've tried a new "stage one" solid food.
So far, we've tried green beans & sweet potatoes. Check out his reaction to the green beans!
Ohhh my goodness!
Daisey was even curious about what we were feeding Greyson & tried her best to get some! I caught her before it was too late!

Baby Babble
Greyson has been extremely vocal during playtime! His language development is moving right along! I was able to take a few pics & a short video clip of him "talking" to us.

Growing Like a Weed!
Greyson had his 4th month check up & another round of vaccines today. He now weighs a whopping 16 lbs./4 oz.(75%). He also measured @ 26 in.(75-90%). The doctor said that he's well proportioned! I can't believe how much he's grown and how his appearance continues to change. He still has his daddy's blue eyes & a bit of his mommy's red hair! His development is progressing as normal and he is actually ahead in some developmental areas.
He's now able to sit up, with support. He's able to do this in his Bumbo sitter.

Here he is playing with his cousin Camryn!
He's also been trying to sit up whenever he is on his back!
We discovered that he loves sitting & playing in his Boppy bouncer. He figured out that whenever he kicks his legs, that he bounces! It's too funny, but great exercise for him!
During tummy time, he loves to play with the "noisy" toy train that Grandma Karen got for him! He loves, loves, loves for you to move it all around so that it will make its "crackle & pop" sound! It has definately encouraged him to want to be on his tummy for longer periods of time.
He's still fascinated with his hands! He enjoys gazing at them & continues to suck on them!
He's also been sticking to his sleep schedule. He goes down for the night between 8:00/8:30 & sleeps for 10/12 hours! During the day, he sleeps on & off for a total of 4 hours. We have also increased his formula intake from 5 ounces to 6 ounces, plus some solid foods (rice cereal).
Greyson continues to bless our hearts! We love him much & don't know what we'd do without him!
