Little Girls Are Heavens Flowers

Baby Korenna is one month old!  She went to the doctor this past week & was in the 95th percentile in every category! She weighs 11.5 lbs & is 23 inches long!  Such a strong & healthy girl!  I'm surprised at how alert she is so early on.  She recognizes our voices & has even been smiling at us!  She loves being rocked & held as well & doesn't like to be left alone.  If I'm in the other room tending to Greyson, she's okay with that as long as she can hear our voices.  Her sleeping has also begun to stretch out during the night...she's been going down at night around the same time as Greyson (between 8:00-8:30).  She then wakes between 11:00-12:00 for a bottle & sleeps until about 6 am.  During the day, she naps on & off & is staying awake for 2 hours at a time.

1, 2, 3, 4 I Can Walk Along The Floor!

Greyson has been on the verge of walking all summer, but he'd much rather crawl.  If you've seen him crawl, you'd understand why...it's because he's the world's fastest crawling baby ever!!  This past week though, he's decided he might give walking a try...first it was one step, then it became two steps, then 3 steps, and now he's up to taking four or more steps at a time!  So proud of him...he's gaining more confidence everyday!  Before too long, we'll be sprinting after him!

 

Blue Jean Baby

Grandma Carole couldn't resist getting Greyson the HUGGIES Jean diapers.  The commercial is hilarious and they are pretty stinking cute.  Greyson has enjoyed being able to strut around the house in them as well...

Dreaming Sweet Baby Dreams

Thank goodness for nap time!  All summer long, Greyson has done a wonderful job at consistently taking a two hour nap.  I thought that once Korenna arrived, it would be a challenge to keep him on his nap schedule...but I was wrong!  He's still on schedule & I've even managed to get Korenna to nap at the same time!  This has been great, because it's allowed me some free time to get done whatever I need to around the house.  As they nap, I'll often check in on them & I can't help but to wonder what they are dreaming about as they sleep so peacefully...sweet babies.

Splashing Good Time

Today we went to the "splash pad" & ohhhh what fun it was!  At first Greyson didn't want to participate because the water was a bit too cold for his liking!   But after awhile, he got used to the water & he was on the move!  Daddy kept a close watch, as Korenna & I hid in the shade & I was able to take some funny pics of the boys!

 

After splashing around for a bit...we then headed over to Papaw & Grandma's house to celebrate Grandma Karen's birthday. My brother & his family also showed up, & all the grand kids had an exciting time with each other!
