Hip Hop Hooray! Today Is Candy Day!

Since Greyson loves to watch “Dinosaur Train,” he dressed up as the dinosaur “Tiny” who is a Pteranodon.  For Korenna, I couldn’t resist getting her the Flower Blossom costume that I found while searching online.  We bought their costumes a month before Halloween, in hopes that we could alleviate any sort of fretfulness they might have about wearing them...don’t think it really mattered, they were going to put up a fight about wearing something strapped to their head in any case.

Boo At The Zoo

This weekend was the 1st weekend for "Boo at the Zoo."  We figured it was going to be the best time to go since the weather was still somewhat warm.  We didn't want to dress the kids in their costumes, because we know it's going to be a struggle with them the following weekend.  It was a great night, and we enjoyed getting to see some of the animals up close and personal.

The Columbus Zoo is huge & amazing!  We unfortunately ran out of time and couldn't possibly see all the animals in just a few hours.  We'll have plenty of time in the near future to see them all...next time, we'll start with the monkeys!

Cutest Pumpkins In The Patch

Today we headed to the pumpkin patch to celebrate a good friend's birthday!  What a perfect fall day it was too!  The kiddies enjoyed a petting zoo, barrel ride, bounce house, and of course...a hayride!

This past weekend our oldest nephew Jared who plays football for Michigan State University, was in town to play against The Ohio State Buckeyes!  We were so thrilled to see him that we got up early on "game day" and went for a quick visit to the hotel where he and his team were staying.  We were all decked out in our MSU attire (yes, even Uncle Brandon who's a die-hard Buckeye fan) to show our love and support for Jared.   For the past five years, we've had the opportunity to travel and watch Jared play against some highly ranked teams. We are so proud of the young man that he's developed into and proud that he'll be earning his degree in an area that he has much passion for.  Few will ever have the capability or opportunity that he's got/had, and few will have the chance that we've had in understanding the thrill of watching someone you love and care for play at the highest level of college competition.

 The biggest thrill for me, was getting to meet the head football coach!!  I was star struck!  I heart Coach Dantanio!  Great coach who is well respected by his players and fans...like me!
