How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You

Valentine's Day at the Shipley house was filled with lots of sweets!  The kids enjoyed getting small gifts, cards, and of course some chocolate kisses from Mommy and Daddy.  My wonderful husband also took the time and got me some lovely flowers and chocolate candies as well...he so knows the way to my heart.  Greyson was also excited because he got to take his very first Valentines in to exchange with his friends at daycare.  The week before, the teachers helped each child to decorate a Valentine box in preparation for their exchange.  His class also celebrated with a small Valentine party.
Here are the Valentines that we did for Greyson's friends and for my little first grade class!
Korenna got to open her musical "Princess" card first...
Loves her "ducky" that goes along with the book that we got them by Eric Carle, "10 Little Rubber Ducks."  Cute book based on a true story about a shipment of rubber ducks that fell overboard and washed up on shores all around the world!
Korenna in her Valentine's Day outfit...
Greyson listening to his Spider Man card...
 Counting the 10 rubber duckies...
 My little "Heart Breaker!"
King size candy bar to Daddy from Mommy...
 Pretty flowers from Daddy!
Greyson couldn't wait to get home so that he could look at all of his Valentines!
I finally got him to take off his coat!
